This is my second purchase of the same detector. It's so easy to use but it works as good as some of the more expensive ones. We wanted to have two of them at the house so we didn't have to share. LOL. Great product!

I purchased this for my granddaughter, who asked for a metal detector for whatever reason. She really likes it. It's lightweight and easy for her to use. It's not going to find anything buried deep, but her parents toss a few coins in the yard and she can go track them down with it. Not sure if she's found anything actually buried as of yet but she likes it and that's all that matters.

I have a metal detector and my granddaughters liked to use it even though it was way to big for them to handle. This one fits them and extends as they grow. I hid coins around the yard for them to find. Worked great

I don't usually write reviews but I felt this was worthy of a review. I got it for my 7 year olds birthday and she has had so much fun with it... Though we haven't taken it out many places we have found quite a few treasures and it is pretty easy to use!

I bought this for my 14 and 12 year old sons hoping it would peak curiosity and get them outside more. Well, it worked! They love looking around the backyard to see everything they can find. They are excited to go to other property on our our ranch and see what old treasures they can find there. It gets them outside, walking and working together and best of all, no arguing! This was worth every cent.

After reading the reviews, decided to take a chance on this inexpensive 'child's' metal detector to search for a man's wedding ring lost in an area of long grass. Success in less than 15 minutes!

You need to read instructions, they do help get the best readings. The black plastic nut on the adjustable piece can break if you get rough with it. For the price this is a good buy.
