Bought this when I got a large router without the 1/2-in chuck gifted to me. I ended up finding the 1/2-in OEM chuck and you can clearly tell the difference. It's thinner and does not screw into the router as easy, but it still works. I decided to keep it as a spare in case my other half inch chuck ever goes. You can tell the difference in the weight from the scale to kind of see how much lighter it is. Overall if you need it it will work, and I'm happy to have a spare in case something happens.

The nut is slightly oversized, making it tough to get the collet wrench on. May just have to grind it down a little. Other than that it's good.
