I bought 2 different sizes. I bought one to hold my 7 1/4 blades and the other to hold my 12" Miter saw blades. They fit just right.

I bought one each of the 8'(19175), 10' (19176) and 12'(19177) table saw blade holders by Big Horn..In each holder, I was able to safely store 2 blades in each holder, by placing a 2' by 1/8' washer between the blades at the center. Then tighten down the screw..Screw? Yes. The knobs supplied made it easy to tighten down the blades in the holder. However, the knobs made it difficult to conveniently store the blade holders. I replaced the knob in each holder with a Stainless Steel 6x1mm by 16mm long screw. (14 MM long would probably work fine.) Yes, this means that you have to find a Philips screwdriver, to access the blade you want. A minor inconvenience..Overall, I'm pleased. I would give these blade holders a 4.5 out of 5 stars. Since I can't give a half star, then 4 it is.

Works for what it's meant for, protecting 12' circular saw blades. I was able to fit 3 blades in the holder and still have them below the surface with a piece of thin cardboard between each. Only thing is that the arbor in the center is only high enough to capture one blade. I just stacked a few washers to support the additional blades. I plane to mount this to my portable miter saw stand.

To anyone considering buying one of the Big Horn Blade Holders...To the negative reviews you might see, honestly, I really don't understand them? They (those two in the headline) are great products.Me? I swap out and add to the hardware provided, so I can safely store 3 blades in each holder. :-OI put the first blade in the holder.I put a Rubber Washer on (5/16 x 1-1/4 x 1/8).I put the second blade on the holder.I put a Metal Washer (depends on your Arbor size, smaller blades, a 1/4 x 5/8 washer, 12 blades, a 1/4 x 1 washer).I put a Rubber Washer on (5/16 x 1-1/4 x 1/8).I put the third blade on the holder.I put a Metal Washer (again, depends on your Arbor size, smaller blades, a 1/4 x 5/8 washer, 12 blades, a 1/4 x 1 washer).I put a Rubber Washer on (5/16 x 1-1/4 x 1/8).I then put the supplied washer on the holder (not sure on its' size, about 1-1/4 diameter ?).Then, I put an M6 x 20mm (so, metric, eh? :-) ) Socket Head Cap Screw in, to hold everything in place.I don't use the large plastic screw that they provide. For your application, they might be perfectly fine?I personally wanted the lowest profile I could achieve for the assembly? One could also probably use a 16mm Cap Screw? For sure on the 8 holder?Cheers..

If I had looked at other customer reviews and photos I would have seen that it is one side without a cover over the blade. However I bought it to be a cleaning pan for removing sap buildup on my blades and it works perfectly for that. And as a few others have said, by adding a self-supplied thick washer for between blades it can hold 2 and still keep the sharp parts of each blade away from the teeth of the other.

The holders fit my my 12 mitre saw blades perfectly with enough depth to protect the blade tips. I could easily stack another smaller blade, like a tile blade for my grinder, on top of the larger blade. The arbor wing nut screw that holds the blade in does prevent multiple units from being stacked flat. I may look for an appropriate alternative to the screw supplied as I am storing my blades in a drawer. The hanging tab might be useful for some, but I would have preferred to not have it.
