Wanted to like it more. It does the job of securing my extra miter and table saw blades but on both that I bought the embedded nut spun free in the plastic and had to be glued in place. That sort of worked for a while but the gorilla glue I used didn't adhere well to the case so now the nut needs to held with a wrench when tightening

This accessory will hold 2 blades. However, the threaded thumb screw is too long and I had to cut off about 1/8" so it would lay flat. Other than that, it worked fine. Other reviews mention the hanging tag is brittle and snaps off. If I were to hang it, I would reinforce the tab with JB Weld epoxy or something similar.

These are great for protecting your expensive saw blades. I made a cabinet that these saw blade holders fit into keeping them organised and easy to access.

This was just what I though I needed for the 10 inch Trex cutting blade I purchased until I tried to substitute a 1/4-20 fastener for the one that came with the blade holder. Thankfully I had a 6mm screw that worked just fine. Otherwise a great blade holder.

I've owned several of these blade holders over many years. The problem with them is the plastic tab doesn't stand up to everyday use. Because I hang most of my blades on the wall, I devised a reinforcement for the tab.I attached a 1/4' thick piece of plywood 3/4' wide and 2 1/4' long. Then screw it from the back with two tech screws and open up the hole from the backside with a 5/16 drillbit. To dress it up, I masked off the holder and used some black paint on the tab as shown in my photographs.Granted this is a lot of work for something that should be made better. But I haven't been able to find a better blade holder, so I modified these. After the reinforcement, I've never had a problem with these blade holders and they protect the blades very well.

I bought one each of the 8'(19175), 10' (19176) and 12'(19177) table saw blade holders by Big Horn..In each holder, I was able to safely store 2 blades in each holder, by placing a 2' by 1/8' washer between the blades at the center. Then tighten down the screw..Screw? Yes. The knobs supplied made it easy to tighten down the blades in the holder. However, the knobs made it difficult to conveniently store the blade holders. I replaced the knob in each holder with a Stainless Steel 6x1mm by 16mm long screw. (14 MM long would probably work fine.) Yes, this means that you have to find a Philips screwdriver, to access the blade you want. A minor inconvenience..Overall, I'm pleased. I would give these blade holders a 4.5 out of 5 stars. Since I can't give a half star, then 4 it is.

It will protect a single table saw blade, however to work well it needs a couple of modifications. First, drill a hole in the back large enough for you to use a finger to lift the blade up high enough for you to remove it. Next, if you want to store it on its side, replace the knob with something shorter and more streamlined; the knob that comes with it protrudes about 1.5. I just use a short bolt cut to about 1/2 of thread. I believe it's a 1/4-20. Save the knob for a jig project.

I modified it for my needs , I shorten the bolt , could have bought a shorter one , replaced the large wing nut by a flat bar I threaded it reason I want a low profile unit with fast access drawer type .Dado could be store there too you need to replace the bolt with a longer one , in my case loose too much space , beside dado is a type of blade I seldom use

This holds saw blades very well, however the knob that comes with it has to long of a threaded portion (sticks out the back) and the knob itself is very tall. I am replacing that knob with a flatter thumbscrew and using these in a blade storage rack where they act as 'drawers'
