Keeps food dry, let's the dust out, this is the only rabbit feeder I like, wish there was a 10 or 12 inch model

These are how feeders should be made. They're perfect. The flow is great and is is wide enough. It won't get jammed even with a little straw gets in the bottom which would jam up most others. It has a lip on the front of the feeder tray that prevents spillage when animals get rowdy. Nothing's loose. Everything's tight. The only thing I would change would be a back stabilizer if there's nothing holding the bottom

Liked smooth metal surfaces. Thought feed bin might be too narrow but my New Zealand Rabbits can eat easii. Don't know about real large breed like Flemish Giants. Just hole in 1/2 wire mesh and attach. Nice lare holding area will last a week at least. Good buy. Going to switch all my cages over.

I used this for 1 wide x 2 tall welded wire. The width of the feeder is slightly larger than 7 so you have to cut out an additional vertical piece of wire leaving a 1 gap on sides. Also for the height you have to cut out 2 1/2 to fit the feeder which leaves me with a 1 1/2 gap. Not a big deal but worth noting.
