Mission: Entertainment technology professionals deserve support during times of need due to serious illness or injury. The behind the scenes foundation will provide that safety net.

Programs: Behind the scenes provides financial assistance to entertainment technology professionals who are seriously ill or injured. Grants are awarded which may be used for medical expenses, basic living expenses, or funeral expenses. Anyone who has worked at least five years full time in the industrywhether behind the curtain or behind the camera, or for one of the companies who manufacture or supply products and services to the industrymay apply for a grant. Since the first grant in 2006, approximately $900,000 has been awarded to pay for necessities such as rent/mortgage, utilities, medications, doctor visits, and health insurance premiums. Behind the scenes brings help and hope to our colleagues in their darkest hours.
