This is a very well constructed barrel. The top fit very tightly and the ring is very sturdy. It locks well and I think it will hold up to use. I am using it with a Dust Deputy 2.5 and it works great. It is the perfect size for my use. I won't have to empty it very often.

The barrel is a nice quality, thick and sturdy. Unfortunately mine arrived crushed, though it must have taken several hundred pounds of pressure to crush it. I tried kneeling on it pop it back into place and its so strong it didnt want to budge. I imagine it took a forklift to crush it so badly. Definitely a testamemt to the quality of the barrel if you get one in good condition!

I was very impressed with the quality of this barrel. The removable top is very sturdy to accept a cyclone separator with no issue. The only issue I had is with the latching mechanism being very tight. No problem, just leave it partially latched and the top is very secure for my use.
