Results: B-17 Alliance Museum & Restoration Hangar is a WWII education center. Crew Members, our volunteers, provide project management, guide tours, conduct educational outreach, host our guests, and are Veteran Ambassadors. B-17 Alliance Foundation was formed to keep a disappearing legacy alive. The 16 million Americans who fought in World War II to preserve our freedom. To preserve this legend… We are restoring the famous Gas Station Bomber the Lacey Lady to fly again as a centerpiece to Honor the American Spirit. People are the legacy… While the Lacey Lady is the centerpiece of our mission. The real stories are about the people who built the culture of America during WWII. The men and women who served valiantly during this turning point in our American history. Their inspirational personal stories from our greatest generation ignite our mission. This B-17G, has the lowest airtime of any B-17 in the world. She is ONE of 6 capable of flying again. We are asking YOU to join this great cause to Honor the American Spirit. Together, we will build community.

Target demographics: Returning the Lacey Lady to her original flying glory to be a centerpiece for a WWII education center.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 5000 veterans feel respected. 100 students learn and be inspired by the stories of WWII.

Geographic areas served: Clackamas County, Marion county and the State of Oregon

Programs: Veterans Coffee Club, Sudent Education, Museum Tours, and Community enrichment programs that Honor the American Spirit while building awareness of the sacrifices made by our veterans. Patriotism, Internships, STEM education, and vocational skills development. A volunteer collaboration. Our crew members build community at over 20 outreach events a year.
