Product Description
Our organic long-grain white rice is low in fat and a good source of iron. Because this rice contains a relatively low percentage of starch, the cooked grains are light, dry and separate easily.
Long-grain rice is the most forgiving rice, the variety that will most often turn out the way you want it, remaining light and fluffy in texture. So use it when you're making a simple pilaf, stuffing, casserole or a pot of rice as a side dish for dinner.

Rice is naturally gluten free
Combine 1 cup rice, 1.5 cup water, and 1 tbsp butter (optional) in a pot and bring to a boil. Cover with a tight-fitting lid, reduce heat to low-simmer for 20 min. Remove from heat (with lid on!) and steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork. *If rice is crunchy at the end of cooking time, it may be necessary to add 1-2 Tbsp. liquid and cook longer. Tip: To prepare in rice cooker, use same water-rice ratio.
