Product Description
Lemongrass has a fresh, bright, lemony aroma and lends a citrus flavor to cooking and teas. It contains antioxidants and other powerful plant compounds beneficial for health. It's a common ingredient in Thai cooking and simmers, and is also used to scent lotions and soaps. It has beneficial uses in aromatherapy to reduce stress and uplift the mood.
To prepare as a tea, pour 1 c. boiling water over 1 tsp of lemongrass. Cover and steep for 3-5 minutes, strain, and serve immediately.
Lemongrass is a sweet-scented grass that grows up to five feet tall. Its bulbous stems grow upwards to form long, pointed leaf blades. When sliced fresh, the stalks show concentric, sheathed leaves. The lower four to six inches of the leek-like stalk have the most vibrant flavor. The upper portion of the leaf has a fold along its center ridge.

Love it! I have never been able to find fresh lemongrass near me & I make a lot of curries & marinades calling for it. I just use this dried lemon grass & it is beautiful & tasty! Problem solved
