I used them to substitute for chocolate. Even though some sources say that they don’t melt, they made great carob chip cookies. They did melt.

Bought these for my preacher, who was told to cut out chocolate and also for a friend who is allergic to chocolate. Not all carob is equal. This brand is creamy and tasty. Doesn't exactly taste like chocolate but it's a decent alternative.
