Mission: AINC’s mission is to provide news and information in audio format for the blind, low vision and print disabled community of Colorado. Audio services empower individuals to be self-sufficient, connected to community, and continuously learning

Results: Each year AINC conducts a listener evaluation survey that measures how AINC is impacting their lives. These are the results of the 2019 survey:81.4% said AINC helps them to be self sufficient. 76.7% said AINC helps them to be connected to the community. 74.4% said AINC helps them to aquire knowledge/education. 72.4% said AINC helps them to learn about things of interest. 69% said AINC helps them to stay informed on community events . 63.2% said AINC helps them to be an informed consumer. 58.6% said AINC helps them to access services.

Programs: We provide our listeners with free access to recorded programming, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The only service of its kind in Colorado, we produce and distribute recorded content from over 100 Colorado newspapers and magazines. Our statewide programs provide listeners with everything from national news to local news and community events. This service allows listeners to access audio versions of material that is otherwise inaccessible. We make sure programs are available on a variety of platforms (online, on the Amazon Alexa, on digital radio, or by phone) to best serve Colorado’s visually impaired and print disabled community, regardless of their circumstances. All broadcasts and equipment are provided 100% free. We provide audio in English and Spanish.
