The only purpose for this product is to see what times left from a longer distance away from the timer. Exactly what I got, this device helped out perfectly, it wasnt as loud as the last time but you can see it clear from across the room, depending on how bad the eyes are.

I read the dimensions first and knew it was smaller. It's funny that they are using BIG in the title. Please read the dimensions! Anyhow, this is a simple, about the size of a deck of cards, easy to use, and straightforward timer, comes with a battery, stand, and magnets...simple for timing testing or anything else in the classroom. If I want a larger one later, I will order off Lakeshore.

I use this during our breaks and set it in front of me so the students can easily see it. The noise it makes is loud enough to hear, but not so loud that it is disturbing or annoying. Perfect!
