I purchased 2 for porch lights on a new addition. After installing the first one it became obvious that the circular hole for the wiring was exactly the same size as the standard light fixtures. This makes it very hard if not impossible to get a good water tight seal between the light and the box. I will be replacing them with standard vinyl siding boxes.

Needed this to hang a sconce against stucco wall. Caulked around it to prevent bugs and water from getting in. More than strong enough holding a large sconce light

I wanted to mount a Eufy security camera on my 1” wood siding. This mounting block feels exceptionally sturdy, had mounting holes in the four corners as well as within the receptacle for more reinforcement. I used 6 1” pan head stainless steel screws to mount. Will buy again for similar projects.

Received as described. Only issue with this lighting base for an outside metal building, was the center mounting screw was too long and chaffed the neutral wire. Also the the cross piece for the light was weak, bent up toward lightning base. Also no plug for center screw pocket. Next one purchased will use one of the side knock-outs.

4 holes on each corner to mount it on my shop tin. Only downside was where the incoming through the shop wall landed the knockout behind the cross mount for my lantern light. Made me bend wire more than I really liked but was doable.
