Mission: Our mission is to provide essential needs for children in foster care through our programs promoting self-esteem, education, independent living, self-worth, and hope.

Results: Our vision is to encourage self-esteem and show the children in foster care that they are loved and valued. The Arizona Sunshine Angels is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that exists to support and enrich the lives of foster children in residential group homes, in Maricopa County. Currently we serve 700+, children from ages 3-18 in 10 agencies we serve. The Arizona Sunshine Angels have been volunteering and helping foster children since 1999, officially becoming a charitable organization in March 2006.

Target demographics: Children in foster care that resides in residential group homes

Direct beneficiaries per year: 700+ children in foster care

Geographic areas served: The children have been removed from their homes by the Department of Child Safety (DCS) and placed in residential group homes until a permanent solution is found or until they age out of the foster care system.
