Mission: THE MISSION OF APPLE TREE DENTAL IS TO IMPROVE ORAL HEALTH IN THE LIVES OF PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL ACCESS NEEDS WHO FACE BARRIERS TO CARE.
Programs: Dental care delivery:during 2014 we served 28,404 patients - a 20.7% increase over the prior year. These patients had a total of 71,246 visits during the year. We also performed 8,697 oral health screenings in residential facilities or head start schools.
the apple tree innovation program stimulates creative change by designing, testing and building oral health care solutions that advance oral health policy and practice. Policy is influenced through broad-based coalition building efforts that create working relationships with state agencies including the department of human services, the legislature and among a range of stakeholders in oral health.
worked with community stakeholders and developed a full business plan to launch a dental center in san mateo, california in 2015.
