Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2019, you helped reach 89 Girls in Girls Empowerment with 96 workshop hours on self worth, assertiveness, goal setting and career connections, personal and menstrual health hygiene, building friendships, leadership, and more! Your support provided 1,056 meals on Saturdays at Girls Empowerment. Over the weekend, schools are closed and with so many relying on the school lunch each day and often as their only meal a day, we are grateful for the Saturday lunch to get them through the weekend. As part of Girls Empowerment, each girl receives a pack of pads and a bath bar of soap on a monthly basis. Throughout the year, you provided 768 packs of pads and 384 bars of bath soap! In Women's Empowerment, you helped reach 30 women with 60 workshop hours on gender based violence, self worth, financial literacy and more! You supported girls to remain in High School through the Shining Scholars program and two young women entered the University!
