The glass bowl exploded while I was cleaning it with soapy water. First it broke then the rest of it just crackled all the way through (like a glass car window)It was strange and scary. I am not comfortable using the other bowls in the set, for fear of glass bowl explosion

Just like a lot of the reviews say, there looks to be little scratches that apparently are some type of fractures, and eventually I had one pop and break while microwaving butter for only 20 seconds.After a year, some have the fractures, some don't, but now I don't trust them in the microwave which is the entire reason I wanted these to use when I couldn't use my stainless steel mixing bowls I already owned.

The two largest bowls were damaged (2 dime size chips in the rim). I was planning to use these as water bowls for my pets but can't due to risk of them being cut.

My wife loves them. Thinks the littlest one is so cute. But mostly we are happy that they are substantial. Nothing fragile about these (well, they are glass, but thick glass). And truly, a size for anything.

The big bowl came with a permanent stain on it. The bowls are supposedly new? Gross.

If you love to cook you enjoy these bowls. I always wanted a set and finally got one. Much better than plastic. Better balance and grip than stainless bowls. They are to clean. Dishwasher safe. They hold up well but they are glass so wouldn't drop them.

Wanted bowls that were not plastic or metal (have those). These are space efficient because they fully nest. Different sizes make them great for prep and mixing. One of bowls had a slight chip but not bothered by that. They are breakable as they are glassbut heavy glass so expected them to be durable. Good value.
