A few years ago, I was searching for a comfortable and supportive office chair that wouldn't break the bank, and the Alera Elusion Series was a fantastic find. This mesh chair offers excellent ergonomic features, breathability, and adjustability, all at a surprisingly affordable price. Here's why I'm giving it a standing ovation: Breathable Comfort: The mesh back is a game-changer, especially during those long workdays. It provides excellent support while allowing air to circulate, preventing that dreaded "sticky back" feeling. Customizable Support: This chair offers a wide range of adjustments, allowing me to fine-tune it to my specific needs. I can adjust the seat height, tilt, and armrests to find the perfect ergonomic position. The adjustable lumbar support is a lifesaver for my back. Sturdy and Durable: The chair feels solid and well-built. It's clearly designed to withstand daily use, and I have no doubt it will last for years to come. Easy Assembly: Putting the chair together was a breeze. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and all the necessary tools were included. Excellent Value: This chair offers a lot of features for the price. It's a fantastic value compared to other ergonomic chairs on the market. A Few Minor Considerations: While I'm pleased with the Alera Elusion chair, there are a couple of minor drawbacks that I've seen mentioned in other reviews: Firmness: Some users have found the seat cushion to be firm. I find it comfortable, but it might not be ideal for those who prefer a softer seat. Armrest Wobble: A few reviewers have mentioned that the armrests can wobble slightly. I haven't experienced this significantly, but it's something to be aware of. Overall: Despite these minor points, the Alera Elusion Series mesh chair is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a comfortable, supportive, and affordable ergonomic chair. It's a versatile, well-made chair that significantly improved my workday comfort.

Bought this office chair back in 2015 and it has held up well for 9 years. I have the mesh back, mesh seat, and mesh headrest version and the only sign of wear currently is a break in the material in one of the arm rests that isn't very noticeable. The mesh is fully intact and has always kept my back and booty sweat-free. Plenty of adjustments on it to fine tune comfort and has decent lumbar support.

I have this chair for more than 10 years. Campaigning it to the most expensive chairs - they are just look a bit better. This one is second to none.

I bought this in 2014 and it's still as good as new. Everything is adjustable. Even has some metal parts, which costs extra with premium chairs. This thing is hefty. In the Herman Miller chairs you can adjust the recline action, but for a budget chair I can't imagine something better than this. The only thing I don't like is that the armrests come out 13 from from the seat back, which makes it hard to scoot close to your desk, making it so your arms are more stretched out than they should be. There is no adjustment for armrest forward/back. That would make this a perfect budget chair.

Had this chair for a couple years now. I like that the arms are removable. If I'm just lounging I can put them on, or remove them if I'm playing guitar. Chair is soft and I can sit in it for hours. Great settings and comfortable.

This chair is not a looker, but it is an excellent seat. More than 8 hour comfort. It is is very highly and effectively adjustable.Seat depth and height is excellent if you are tall.Bought it in 2013. The lift finally went out and the adjustment that allows the seat to lean forward (why is there even this adjustment) no longer held.I would have purchased another, but I will buy a more attractive mount this time. (Have already given away or returned several more expensive chairs, because they did not work for tall people.)

Great chair, very comfortable, many ergonomic adjustments. You need to take the time to adjust your seat to your body, also change the position regularly to keep yourself from getting stiff. Only con is the arm rests only adjust in height and do not slide forward or rotate.

I purchased this chair at the beginning of the pandemic when I started to work from home. After 16 months of usage - literally I sit on it more than 9 hours every working day, the heavily bolstered cushion still provides the same level of support as it arrived, comparing to the seat of an IKEA chair which lost the resilience in a couple of months. It is even more comfortable comparing to the $500 chair in my office.
