Used one of these at my job makes the job a lot easier to do instead I have to pull nails it just knocks them out I like that

I use a lot of reclaimed lumber in my shop and this tool makes it so much easier to pop out old nails and staples. Speeds up the whole process.

Coworker suggested I get one and love it. Works for staples and nails, word of caution with staples the can get jammed along the plunger so keep them centered.

Far exceeded my expectations. Makes dismantling pallets a breeze. It will literally fire nails out the other side and beyond. Recommend a catch for nails and safety glasses are a must.

Does what it is supposed to! Keep an eye on the air pressure gauge though, one of the nails I drove out of a tight ring old growth 2x4 new/modern 1/2" OSB plywood literally shot 60 feet, over my yard driveway into the street. I stated blocking the area with cardboard and the nails were driving nearly through the cardboard so switched to a heavy cloth the deaden the speedbut wouldn't recommend holding the cloth with your hand! After dialing in the air pressure, it worked like a dream. Would recommend if you have a lot of nails to remove, it's fast, easy, lightweight and easy to maneuver. Would recommend even more highly if you can purchase at a discount!

I'm a newbie DIYer working with pallets and this tool does exactly what it is designed for. The nail shoot out exactly as you would expect I have had no issues and very glad to have. If you are going to work with pallets this is a time saver.

I bought this a couple years ago. I used it a few times, right after I bought it. I used it today, to remove nails from 2 fence panels. A few nails didn't come all the way out. Not a big deal. A word of warning though. Make sure you have somewhere for the nails to shoot into. They can travel. I put the wood over my garbage can. Also, it leaves small dimples in the wood. It also doesn't remove thin brad nails. They'll just twist.

Cheap little tool but effective. I work for some folks that like to reuse old lumber and this tool helps me get rid of the nails in it pretty quickly. I'm glad I bought it.Has an aluminum end where you slip the nail into and a steel plunger to knock the nail out. The plunger will push the nail about 1/2" past the surface of the wood meaning even if the nail was cut you can still back the nail up to pry out the nail from the other side.

For the cost I am kicking myself. I should have seen this in a YouTube video much sooner. I thing this is worth it's weight in gold and super simple. If you can get it, save your time and effort.

can't imagine anyone dismantling pallets without this thing, especially with hardwood pallets. nails just shoot out, or pop out halfway. the sound it makes is incredibly satisfying, and i have fun just rapid firing the trigger.be careful using this with a board that has a split started at the nail hole. the force of this will exacerbate the split. I found im better off just cutting out those nails anyway.will ROI immediately from time and frustration saved, especially if you're lucky enough to have hardwood pallets
