With a toddler in the house I have no other option but to store my consoles in a cabinet which is never optimal during use, but just always left the front door wide open for airflow to work along with the vents cut in the back panel of my cabinet. I never had issues doing this for the past few years with my One X or PS4 Pro, or even my Series X (likely because the top heat dissipation), but that all changed when I put a PS5 in the cabinet. It seems like it builds up much more heat in the top/rear of the cabinet before it can escape. I began looking for cooling options and the AC Infinity assemblies looked like a no brainer. My cabinet has some of the thinner board on back so it was easy enough to use the included stencil and a sharp utility knife to cut out a spot in the very top rear of my cabinet, and instead of screws I used some thin double sided tape. Took no longer than 10 minutes to install. After an evening of use I found that the lowest setting was able to move enough air to keep my cabinet at ambient temperature with the front door open while playing the PS5, so I consider this problem solved. On the two lowest settings the fans are barely audible unless you're listening for them or are super close. The highest setting can only be heard slightly over the fan on the PS5. I am more than happy with my purchase and the performance of this unit.
