Works great on my bisqued pottery!

Scotch Masking Tape is my go to brand when it comes to tape. It sticks to several different surfaces and is easy to remove. I highly recommend it.

I could not find this width masking tape in my local stores. The adhesion was very good and there was not any paint bleed. I did not think the flexibilty of the tape was excellent but I made it work for my project.

I used this tape on stained glass projects and it worked, I needed a slight stretch to hold the glass in place.

This tape is not suitable for any automotive use at all. I've been using it for a week, and it pulls all the paint and clear under it. Curves well, but your paint will be ruined. I've tried on acrylic spray paint, urethane base, metal flake, Rustolium clear coat, and 2 brands of 2k clear. Pulls all of it. The $10, 4 pack available was a better tape.

I purchased a roll of Scotch Performance Masking Tape 233 to protect the paint around my headlights during headlight restoration, and I have to say, I'm impressed. Application was simple, my paint was unharmed, and removal was a breeze. It left absolutely no residue behind, and no chemicals or liquids penetrated through the tape. You get what you pay for, and I think the cost is justified by its performance and quality. Trust other reviewers when they say its quality is unbeatable because they aren't lying. If you need automotive tape, don't take the risk with off-brands. Opt for this instead; you won't regret it.

I bought this tape for a small project painting my bicycle helmet. Someone close to me has an auto body shop that I have helped out in so I am familiar with the products they use and the importance of having them work well. This is the same stuff used for all those custom car paint jobs. 3M is THE brand for this market, like Apple for computers. I used this tape specifically for edges and areas with smaller detail and it performed like a champ. The adhesion was great in that it stuck for many days as I was working with stencils, it didn't let paint bleed when it was perfectly applied, it was able to "stretch" a little bit so curves were easy to layout, and best of all it didn't lift up any paint when it was taken off. I should've used this similar product for larger area portions and I would've saved myself a lot of headaches.
