This was a great addition to my guest bedroom's bed. I had some guests who felt my bed was a bit too firm and this addition resulted in happy guests. Of course, I had to tell some of them that I bought it just for them. My husband was the only one who commented that he smelled some foam odor after a month of use. No one else had commented about odor and I did not smell anything. I consider it very comfortable, but I have not slept on it.
