We actually bought two sets. One for us and another as a stocking stuffer for one of our sons who is big into good old fashioned card games, now! Yes, I would recommend.

the cards don't make the suite the main focus for the center of the card. they have a generic design that has nothing to do with the suite of the aces. this makes them hard to read in low light.

I bought this set of cards for my daughter's boyfriend's kid because she likes to play card games like Trash, War, Hearts, etc. They're a little pricey for playing cards (DT has them cheaper), but she's happy so I'm happy.
