The Wera Black Point tip and a refined hardening process ensure long service life of the tip, improved corrosion protection and an exact fit.
The basic idea for the prototype of the Kraftform handle - that the hand should dictate the design - has, right through to today, proved to be correct. In cooperation with the internationally recognised Fraunhofer IAO Institute, Wera developed a screwdriver handle designed to match the shape of the human hand as long ago as the 1960s. After a long development phase, the Wera Kraftform handle was launched to the market in 1968. It has been optimised through the years with new technologies, but has kept its proven shape. These tools are nice. Good fit in the hands and have a certain heft that feels good, like a real quality tool should have. Might be trading in my Kliens for these. The through cap feature is good making up Junction boxes and when you need to bash whatever is in your way with a pliers and screwdriver combo. Likely going to order more of these I am that impressed with them.

One complaint. In spite of the "roll prevention" feature intended to keep the tool close by, it rolls WAY too easy. But using it is a dream compared to most screwdrivers. If you can prevent it rolling somewhere you cannot retrieve it from, totally worth it.
