I am astounded that this product actually works. Mind you, I am not clarifying a whole outdoor water feature, but only a smallish outdoor fountain. Nevertheless, last year, my fountain needed constant clearing of debris and scale buildup. This year I use half of pump of product once a week, and I havent had any need to clean that same fountain out from the time I bought the product in July till now, mid-September. As noted by a previous reviewer, this is offered at half the price than on Wayfair.
