These are replacing set of pyle plpw6d subs. Unpacking these audiopipes, i immediately noticed the overall build quality is levels beyond pyle and basically the same price. Once amped and loaded into my enclosure, the output quality difference was very noticeable. The bass had more beef, the drivers have a bit more start/stop control. Ill be building a single 15" sealed setup next and I'll be going for another Audiopipe sub for it, no question about it. Highly recommend!

They fit great in the sail panels of my 99 Trans Am. Correct 2 ohm load and wattage for the Monsoon system. Very happy.

The mounting was supposed to go to a 6x8 to 5 1/4 or 6 1/2 adaptor, but the subs are bigger than said adaptor. I had to build a custom box for two, but they sound great and don't take up that much room in the trunk

Sounds clean, has a unique look, and is well worth the price. Great for a small light-duty subwoofer... I used it on a bicycle boom-box!
