I would've given 5 stars but one of the legs stripped and cracked. (The very last leg I attached)

They are just what I was expecting.

These stools aren't bad. Gives you a place to sit for a short period but not too comfortable for extended seating as there isn't any seated padding or back support, which I knew when purchasing. Not bad though.

I like the product, however! The package was NOT delivered to the right place, nor was it delivered to my hands as the comment section on delivery mentioned. That is simply not the truth.

Assembly was easy. But the screws that came with striped out so easy, just starting them into the holes would strip out both the screws and supplied Allen wrench. Even using my own tools stripped out the screws. Other than that the seem to be ok.

Very solid stool. It took me a while to assemble without the instruction.

Real Beechwood construction (a hardwood). Well-stained by the manufacturer. Easy to assemble. This will last for years, if not abused. Since it's hardwood, you can actually sand it down at some point and paint or re-stain it, if you ding it or scratch up the original stain. Get yourself a trendy cushion for the seat and you'll be living uptown.

I'm in a new house and needed a small island with a couple of stools - and at $40 each, these fit the bill.I'm a 72 yo woman, reasonably handy but inclined to put the first piece of anything I'm assembling upside down and backwards. This time was no exception, so after backing up and starting over - and keeping the actual picture of what it's supposed to look like in front of me, I found it mostly easy. Here are my tips: Watch the pieces with red dots and where they go - critical pay attention to the cross pieces and whether they have an angle on the end - that defines top and bottom edges. the biggest pain are the legs where they attach. Because you're working with a blasted Allen wrench in the interior of the seat bottom, you will only have about 80 degrees to move the wrench. So it's insert, twist a bit, take it out, reinsert it, twist a bit- really tiresome. I have a mini drill with a hex driver - only 4.8v, so with this soft wood that was perfect. I'd be really cautious with a 12v drill if that's what you have. But in either case, because you are holding a leg in a corner and starting the screw right is critical, I'd go the first few and last few turns manually with the Allen wrench to have a better feel that it's seated correctly and snug but not too tight. don't do final tightening until its all together the screw caps are going to fall out if you don't put a dollop of wood glue on and use a rubber hammer or, as I did, a washcloth between the wood and hammer.Both of mine have minor finish mars on the seat top. Goodness knows not enough to send it back and have to go through this again :). I've attached pics. I'm not young enough to expect perfection in a $40 stool, and it's not worse than a grandkid is likely to cause. :)Hope that's helpful! When all is said and done, these are sturdy, look good enough, and have enough height to eat comfortably on a 36” counter-height island.

Great stool for under the counter. The little circle knobs to cover the holes fall out literally all the time. The black scratches pretty easy so the gloss paint wears off but easy for an apartment and would recommend for the price

Easy to put together. Customer service is phenomenal. They are better quality than you would expect for the price! The wood has already chipped on ours and we haven’t had them very long but that’s to be expected. Overall I would recommend to anyone on a budget that wants nice bar stools.

They are too low for my counter. However, they were easy to assemble and are sturdy and really comfortable.

I got this for a place to sit in my bathroom. It is the perfect height and I am enjoying it a lot

The sturdiness was not real goog and you have to keep on tightening the screws daily

Would have given these 5 stars but they are a bear to put together. Nice looking and sturdy once assembled however.

Giving someone an allen/hex wrench to torque the screws is a bad idea.

Nice and comfy, looks good, now my man cave is almost complete, I wonder if you can buy a brass pole here too.

Beautiful and easy to assemble.

We were very happy that we could add to our set of three stools by buying a fourth. Now the entire family can sit in the kitchen for casual gatherings.

While the wood looked really nice, the attempt at assembly was quickly abandoned. It would take two people to put it together, and the wrench included could only be turned a quarter turn at a time.
