Results: Last fiscal year, Waypoint made the following impact:- 301 homeless individuals, including children, were provided emergency shelter. - 956 homeless and nearly homeless individuals were supported through Rapid Re-Housing and Homeless Prevention Programs. - 28,902 meals were served to individuals, including children, at the Madge Phillips Center Shelter. - 3,106 individuals were connected with the Centralized Intake Program to assess and support their housing crisis. - 78% of Waypoint clients supported with a housing crisis exited to permanent housing. - 2,843 domestic violence victims/survivors were served with advocacy, safety planning, and support. - 6,822 phone calls were answered through the 24/7 Domestic Violence Resource & Support Line. - 162 children (weekly average) were provided with financial assistance so they could receive quality child care. - 98% of children who exited a KidsPoint Learning Center & Preschool were developmentally on track for kindergarten. - 97% of school age youth enrolled at KidsPoint reported having a positive sense of self and a positive relationship with an adultoutside of their family. - A total of 522 children (weekly average) were served through two Learning Center & Preschools and multiple Before/After School Programs and Summer Day Camps.

Programs: Waypoint is a multi-service agency composed of two divisions, Critical Services and Child Care. Critical Services consists the following programming:
•Madge Phillips Center Shelter: Providing homeless women and families with children with overnight shelter, basic needs, information, referrals, one-on-one support, and skill development.
•Centralized Intake: Serving as the central point of contact for all households experiencing a housing crisis or seeking emergency shelter in Linn, Benton, and Jones counties.
•Rapid Re-Housing: Helping homeless households secure permanent housing through housing search and identification, landlord advocacy, case management, and limited financial assistance.
•Homeless Prevention Services: Supporting households that are nearly homeless with community resources to support housing stabilization and referrals to prevention programs.
•Domestic Violence Victims Services: Empowering victims/survivors of domestic violence and their families with advocacy, a 24/7 resource and support line, and support groupsWaypoint's Child Care Program, KidsPoint, serves over 500 area children daily. An on-site Family Support Specialist assists families with needs outside the scope of the classroom and offers Sliding Scale-Fee Assistance when applicable.
