My husband has a medical condition that prevents him from having steady hands and is confined to a wheelchair. This phone allows him to easily call me on my cell phone if he needs assistance while I am doing yard work outside.

I bought this phone for our children (3 and 5) to use. We bought the matching cordless photo button phone as well. While they are way too young for a cell phone, we wanted to get them used to using phones. It gives them a way to contact us too (or 911) if we need help, especially if incapacitated (for example, if grandparents watching them and has a medical issue). They love it and use it to call us too when they want to get ahold of us in the house ("can you bring us a snack downstairs?").
