This is a paint mixture that does not work well with others, after spraying some engine parts it just did not dry properly and was sticky days after use

While technically made for an engine, I use it to touch up some of the black metal around my fire put. The formulation has its limitations but works well for thus far after having burned logs in the fire pit. I use it to keep away rust from forming on the metal after the summer season to keep the fire pit looking good.

VHT is made by Dupli-color (Sherwin Williams) but this stuff is better than the Dupli-color version. I have been having problems with Dupli-color staying tacky, not drying at all or taking days to dry even in a warm climate. Don't know why?? The VHT version doesn't do that and the finish is fantastic, it sprays awesome and isn't runny if your careful unlike Rust oleum products.

I cut some things out under hood for weight, after sanding and priming, this paint has held up for a couple of years now at many car shows.

Never use this for a stovetops. It created lots of mess with melting on my stovetop after even 2 weeks cure time was allowed. Not endure high heat at all.
