Bought some new exhaust manifolds and wanted to protect them before install.They came out beautiful after several coats each. I haven't baked them or installed them yet, so can't speak about how it holds up. Perhaps one day down the road I may come back and update this in respect to its intended purpose.

I own an automotive repair shop. Catalytic converters are getting stollen in the area. I offer a free service to my customer's. The scrap yards are not suppose to take in converters painted red or orange. That is what our local police department told us. So I offer to spray paint the converters. This is the highest temperature paint I have found.

I like other VHT products. This, however, made a mess coming out and left uneven splotches all over what I was painting. I would have been much better off not even using this.

The catalytic converter was stolen from my wife's pickup while it was parked inside a gated (and supposedly secure) employee parking lot. While we were waiting on the replacement parts, I studied ways to better protect the converter and discourage theft. We did two things: we had the shop install a steel shield that completely covered the new converter, and I bought this can of paint and sprayed the converters in both of our cars a nice bright orange and even did a little over-spraying so the bright orange would be easily visible to any potential thieves BEFORE they started cutting. Not only did I paint both converters, but I also sprayed the tail pipe (and some adjacent surfaces) all the way from the manifold to the muffler. So now if I get down to look under the cars, the first thing I see is a lot of bright orange. This will discourage theft by making the converters harder to sell and give police a better way to identify it. The paint has even baked into the metal as the exhaust system heated up during driving, so its there to stay. This stuff did a great job, just what I wanted it to so.

Works just as it should, not my first time buying and using this. Have other colors. It works perfectly as long as you follow the instructions

Sprayed the cat converters on my 2012 Toyota 4Runner with the bright orange VHT coating hoping for a theft deterrent. Followed the curing instructions to the letter. After driving normally for 30 minutes and letting it cool, much of the orange had turned an avocado green. Lots of time and effort completely wasted.

I used it to draw some designs on my catalytic converter and also to paint a metal converter shield. Hopefully it'll deter thieves - we'll see. Expensive paint, but it's nice and bright, applied easy and durability seems excellent so far.

Painted my CC orange to discourage theft. Have driven it a few times since then and it is still orange. Can take the heat. Hasn't been stolen.

It will last on a grill. Just be sure to heat treat it and it will last. Recommend!

I used this high temp paint as a theft deterrent on three catalytic converters I have. It sprayed easily while being held at almost any angle (handy when reaching under a vehicle). I would purchase this paint again.
