Replaced the expired tube with this new one ans the amp is up and running. Fair price and really well packaged. Good value

I have a schiit freya and tung-sol tubes are the best ones that I have used so far. The preamp came with JJ electronic tubes which were mediocre. Then I bought PSVANE 6SN7 Vacuum Tube UK tubes and they are good sounding with a decent price. Then I bought PSVANE Tube Cossor globe tubes and they were a little better with a steeper price but wasn't really happy with the clarity of them. Then I tried PSVANE CV181-SE Vacuum Tube Carbon Crystal Globe Tubes and they were pretty good but expensive. Then I bought the Tung-sols which sounded as good as the cv181-se tubes right out of the box. And as I write this I have about 80 hours of burn in time they are the best ones so far without question and the price for them is relatively cheap. I am very happy with them and will probrably end my tube rolling and stick with these. Highly recomend the Tung-Sols. Update 1/3/24 : I have bought some different nos tube, GE, Ratheon, and best of all sylvania jan 231vt which are the best I have tried so far. The money I've spent on tube rolling is rediculous. Old american military grade are the best

These Tungsols are fabulous right out of the box. My Willsenton R300 amp now sounds warm and romantic but still detailed and exciting. I love and enjoy the improvement. If you have a similar amp and love to tube roll, these are the ones to get. You will love them too.

I'm using these in a headphone amp. They are rock solid with good power and sound. I think that Tung-Sol make the best (new) audio tubes today. They are all tough, reliable, and musical. I recommend these.
