This us a fairly light weight rake. Appears well built for its size, appears adequate for light to medium jobs; used accordingly this rake seems serviceable. For the money I figure it is a good deal.

I use to move gravel on my driveway and it works great. So much sturdier that a normal rake.

Well-made, heavy duty rake. I am creating a swale and needed a rake that could pull through wet earth with substantial force and not succumb and break or deform to a useless shape. The reason I got this rake was my hardware store variety rake was not up tp the task and deformed beyond usefulness. This is a good rake for heavy duty use to move dirt, wet or dry. The rake, well worth the money.

Like having an actual wood handle, and a minimalist build to this rake. The wood handle, and the price = good investment'

When I was landscaping in the 80's we called this an asphalt rake or a gravel rake. The $15 to $30 rakes from the orange, blue, red and yellow places bounce off the concrete that we call soil in Phoenix, and just clog up and do nothing if you try to move gravel. This thing is a beast, with a heavy steel head and fat hardwood handle. The pricetag is steep, but the quality is there. If you appreciate super high quality tools that don't break, this is for you.

Abused plenty. Used to level and sieve soil, has been left out in the rain for weeks. No bending, signs of wear, or rust.

I live on a hill side with an abundance of rocks in clay soil. This rake is excellent at poping rocks up out of the soil and pulling them into piles. The head attachment to the shank is robust and part of its effectiveness.I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Glad I bought it, I'll buy another to do twice the work. Sturdy, easy to handle.

I bought this specifically to spread some heavy gravel. It worked GREAT. This was gravel the size of a golf ball which was dug into the ground in places. This rake handled it and never even got a scratch on the paint. I recommend it highly. And it came very quickly from the seller

This is a good rake, and probably fine for regular household uses, even farm uses. Saldy not big enough to use for forest fire prevention. I'd need one that's huuuge to accomplish that. About the width if 50 of trumps tiny hands.
