Got this to replace a trane relay model RLY1685. Its An older Trane XE1000 unit. At first connected the same terminals as the old relay. Did not want to work. Let it go for 1 minute, then cut power. Did some more research (read the reviews) and watched you tube and noticed they connected the heavy red wire to the fan, to the com terminal. Mine old one was connected to the 3 terminal. So switched those two wires and now it working. Another issue I had was my 24vac wire was Red, not black. But checking the schematic, those red wires came from the Black transformer wire. And it also connected to the Red wire to the thermostat. So ensure the wires come from and go to the correct terminals on your application. Easy to install for me, took 30 minutes. Did use a 1/4 drive hex impact wrench. I'll give it 3 stars for the value right now. It's new. It's funny, the seller has this for $61 and another for $70, asked what the difference was and there isn't any. Go figure! Comes package in a small box with one sheet of instructions. The unit is back working as it should, so that's a plus!

I have an OLD 1998 Trane XE 1100 heat pump and the fan on the inside unit was not coming on like it should, causing my lines to the outside unit to get ice on them. Sometimes it would run fine for a few hours and then suddenly stop, and at others it would come on when you first turned the air conditioner on, but then after a few minutes it would stop and wouldn't come back on at all. The Trane RLY02807 Relay Switch fixed the problem, and it has been running great for the past month. Saved me a fortune!

This part was what I needed to repair a burned out time delay relay in an old trade xl1200. This part is substantially different than the one removed from the unit, but with a know how it's pretty easily fitted.

I replaced a ic board with this older relay style and it worked fine. This part was called out as a replacement part on my Trane parts list. I had to add crimp spade connectors to the existing wires to use this.
