The PDI-1 is a DI (Direct Injection) box that allows sound engineers to use the output of any instrument signal with the pre-amps in their mixers, all in a durable tour-grade form factor. Featuring all the typical functions you would expect from a DI box; A 1/4" Instrument level input to accept the signal from your guitar, bass, or other high-z equipment; A Balanced XLR output to go straight to your mixer which also includes A Ground Lift function to avoid the dreaded ground loop hum; and a 20dB Pad for those really hot signals.

The Talent PDI-1 is a standard DI (Direct Injection) Box featuring all the typical functions you would expect. 1/4" Instrument level inputs to accept the signal from your guitar, bass, or other high-z equipment. A Balanced XLR output to go straight to your mixer, no adapters needed! A Ground Lift function to avoid the dreaded ground loop hum.
Use the PDI-1 to accept your instrument signal and send a split to your amplifier via the Thru output or sum two inputs together when the MERGE function is enabled.
Use the high-quality XLR connector of the PDI-1 to output the signal to the engineer. You can remove pesky ground hum with the Ground lift switch or turn a hot signal down with the -20dB Pad.
Tour-Grade, Studio-worthy
The Talent PDI-1 also has a place in the studio as a re-amping box! Send any signal through the XLR connector with a gender changer, and you'll be able to interface it directly into equipment that is expecting instrument level signal. Vocals through guitar pedals?
