I didn't have any grand expectations for the hat. The Sun Boonie Hat is functional. I will work it into my outdoor activities hat rotation. My head is a little too small for a perfect fit, but it is wearable. The material seems to be as advertised, breathable and moisture wicking. For the price, it's a good buy.

great for the price, but would have liked a smaller size, I got these for my wife and myself, I thought they where ajestable in size, but they are not. mine came in large, which might work out if I had a lot of hair, and it dosn't work for my wife. over all I like the look so I will not return them

I was completely surprised when these hats arrived--they are almost as good as the much more expensive hats in this same category (perhaps just a tiny bit thinner lighter material) but even better in some ways--the wide brim has snaps on two sides to keep it tacked up if desired. The colors are bright and varied enough to have a different pattern for each member of our jet skiing party! And shipping was speedy too!

-The online catalog does NOT mention a choice of SIZE. The website does NOT tell the customer to choose among Small, Medium, Large. I took a chance by assuming that no mention of size would result in Opentip sending me a Medium sized hat. -Surprise: A Large sized hat arrived. It is a little loose, but I can find a reason to accept and keep the hat. -BEFORE you order one of these hats, you should contact someone in the Opentip company and make an agreement with that person on the size of hat(s) which you are buying. The workmanship and cloth in the hat are good. Considering the price of less than US$4, the workmanship and materials are excellent.
