I never do reviews, but this was way too expensive to already be too dull to cut regular paper. Was really looking forward to this. I use a paper cutter quite often and having one that I can use on larger than 12" sheets would have been great.

This works very well for cutting about 1/3 of the spine a magazine like BHG or New Yorker. I do worry that I will have to buy another one of these after cutting a few hundred magazines, though maybe sharpening the blade will give me another few months. My use case is pretty hard on the paper cutter, but for this price it seems to be the best overall price/performance.

I looked at dozens of guillotine cutters and read all the reviews. So many had negative reviews that I was getting discouraged. Then I saw this one and realized that it is the one that one of my favorite YouTube junk journal artists uses, so I bought it. I've been using it now for a few months and it works great. I am very pleased that I saw this one and bought it !!!

This 18" cutter is advertised as solid maple top. It's "Not solid maple", it's plywood! It is a good paper cutter but they should be honest in the description.

Our old paper cutter has worked fine for 30 years, but decided to purchase a new one. We cut industrial paper towels that is thicker than a sheet paper. We can cut about 5 or so at one time. After reviewing several other cutters, we are pleased by the performance of this one.

As an art teacher, I have spent tons of time prepping supplies at school when I’d rather be at home. Now I can do a lot of that prep at home, between other activities, errands, etc, instead of dedicating 2 hours on a Saturday to, say, cutting cardboard for a project!
