There's not a lot to say about envelopes, other than they work or they don't. Unless they're this new kind of envelope alchemy that eliminates those irritating peel-off strips for self-sealing closures! What sort of magic is this, that you unfold a flap to reveal a strip of gum that doesn't seem to want to stick to anything, until it comes into contact with its mate on the upper envelope flap, to which it adheres immediately? I had not seen such a thing before. Truly amazing! In practical terms, the 9 envelope is perfectly sized for 8-1/2 x 11 inch single pages, tri-folded. The security print does a good job of obscuring writing printed on the contents (I couldn't see or read anything when I held it up to a bright light). I've been wanting window envelopes for a while; addressing them by hand is inconvenient and I don't do enough to make running them through a printer worthwhile. And I really don't care for address labels... One caveat: the adhesive doesn't make an impervious seal, and the envelope can be carefully reopened and then re-sealed with no significant loss of performance -- which could actually be a benefit, in case you forget to put something in the envelope before you sealed it the first time, or put in the wrong paper, or forgot to sign something, or somesuch. I'm happy with them. Five stars.
