Just what I needed to repair my fiberglass extension pole. Probably better than the original. The original appeared to be cast aluminum or pot metal, that's why it broke so easy. This one is machined aluminum, very nice. However, the one I received did not come with a rivet and the hole wasn't drilled. I have rivets and drill bits though. No problem.

Solid stainless I believe. Definitely machined. I bought to replace original that broke. Pot metal , powdered metal whatever it is called . Had snapped at the threads.Cost was higher, but when I got it I knew I wouldn't need to ever replace it.

This was used on a small extension pole for painting. Original threaded tip broke and this was a great replacement for the pole, which is an aluminum extension pole with a 1 O.D and this tip fit perfectly.Only drawback on this product is the price, for which I could have bought a new extension pole, but the quality appears very good.

This is milled from aluminum solid bar stock. The threads are solid and will never break. It's not possible to make a better replacement than this. The originals are cheap zinc, cast with hollow threads. You do need tools to do the replacement which is described in the questions section, etc. Not cheap but you will be very happy.

Decent tip, but kind of overpriced at 18 dollars. Other than that, workes fine to replace the tip I accidentally broke.

The old saying you get whatyou pay for is relevant in this case. I used this to replace the plastic end on a pole I use on my pontoon. I kept breaking and replacing the plastic ends on my pontoon pole so many times, I decided to buy this one at 4 times the price.This is a bit pricey, but I don't think I will ever have to replace it again.Very well made. If I think about it and add up the price and time I spent breaking and replacing the plastic ones, I'm probably ahead of the game buying this one.

If you want an indestructible broom, this will do the job. Any 1 inch diameter handle will work.Very nicely made but expensive.
