I got this because we had restored some old furniture but hadn't gotten to replacing the actual feet that were very worn out. I resorted to placing the tape under the old feet to prevent them from scratching my floor.I was prepared for the idea of having to completely remove the hardware from my old levelers but I was pleasantly surprised when these threaded directly into my existing hardware, 5 stars for that alone! The furniture levelers I have are at least 20 years old so I was not expecting plug-and-play, but I am happy that they are. Solid 5 stars, these are very good value and great replacements.
