This clock is great. I'm deaf in one ear, and hard of hearing the other. Because of this clock, I no longer sleep with my hearing aid in (I only wear one). The alarm is plenty loud, the flashing light is very bright and the bed shaker disk works great under my pillow. I no longer have the alarm sound on because the bed shaker under my pillow, and the flashing lights do the trick for me and does not wake up anyone else.

I'm a heavy sleeper and would sleep though my alarms. When I lived in a house I had no problem, though when I moved to my top floor apartment the bed shaker was powerful enough to get me a noise complaint from my neighbors below.

As a deaf person, I believe that the Sonic brand is always a winner. My 10-year-old Sonic clock was broken when traveling, and this is the replacement. It is easy to use. Easy to program. The vibrating function is nice so that I don't have to alert my neighborhood I am waking up. It blinks, vibrates and alerts. The only downside is that it is not aesthetically pleasing.. All of these clocks are ugly. Which is fine. It serves it's purpose. It wakes the deaf.

Great visibility and readability with size of display and brightness controls. Extremely easy to setup, battery life is dependent upon 9V battery that user provides. Vibrating module provides physical stimulation to help user to wake up. Quality product, highly recommend!

A wonderful product! I’m elderly with hearing loss and always afraid I wouldn’t hear the alarms. But with Sonic Boom, those days are over. Everything the company says is true. And it’s not difficult to set up. The beauty of it is that you can customize it to however you like.
