I liked the original straps as well, but had to try these green straps on it and definitely loved it. It is lighter than it looks, but super chic. In terms of accuracy, it hasn’t been long since I started wearing it but I can say it gained 5 seconds in 24 hours; that’s like the same performance with my tissot le locle powermatic 80

It barely holds power reserve! Also the blue color tone of the image is way different than the actual color you get. Retuned.

Watch is beautiful. Couldn’t believe how Cheap the band looked. Looks like it’s made of vinyl. I already replaced the band with a cloth sports band.

I wanted this watch forever and finally bought it to wear on my wedding day. It’s a beautiful watch but it doesn’t keep time at all and none of the avenues for fixing the issue have panned out. I regret buying this watch and won’t but Seiko again because of it.

Probably the most beautiful dial of any of my watches. The texture and colors are just stunning when they catch the light. Good size and very light weight. I love that it has an exhibition case back. The glossy strap that it came with looks cheap, but the 20mm lug width makes it easy to swap out. I’ve worn it on both brown and black leather, and I think it looks great on both. Cannot beat this for the value.

Great watch for the price. Works well and looks good. Strap is not that comfortable but it seems to depend in your wrist size. Many folks will replace the strap, even still a good value.

It’s a very well made watch. The dial is beautiful and looks high quality. The only thing that tells that this watch is “cheap” is the band. But a quick switch with a better strap or metal bracelet would do the trick

Love the look, quality and size of the watch. I know others dislike the band, but I love it. I like the clasp, fit, and the look. Yes, the band has a high sheen to it - the same as a pair of patent leather shoes, only in dark brown. Personally, I feel the band goes well with the polish of the case, and the brilliant dark green dial. I have a small wrist, and typically wear vintage watches - but the watch is not too large on my wrist, and the band works well.

When I first discovered horology and timekeeping, I fell in love pretty quickly. Maybe 15 years ago is when I got into watches pretty big time. I should’ve grabbed a SARB065 when I stumbled upon it but just never pulled the trigger and moved on to much more expensive pieces. The SRPE43 is a nice replacement to the previous sarb065. The strap is just as terrible and the movement is worse than its predecessor though which are things to consider. I will say though that it’s a strap monster and easily replaceable. I highly recommend picking this up if you have at least a 6.5 inch wrist, and are looking for a pretty dress watch to wear either casually or professionally. It’s just a great piece and it holds time extremely well for the price point. I get about a 5-10 second /- on the regular which is solid for the 4R35
