I used this product based on reviews. Followed simple instructional video on YouTube off SeaFoams webpage . The results were better then I expected poured entire bottle into the Transmission , Drove 50 miles . Came back let fluid settle cool down. Then using a electric siphon drained out the contents in the pan about 3 1/2 maybe 4 qrts. Then I added about 4 oz if the sea foam trans tune from 2 nd can I bought.Topped off with ATF4 Synthetc Tran fluid 1/2 bottle of Lucas anti slip transmission stabilizer and did another 50 miles test run. My 2002 Dodge Dakota shifts like brand new !! I'm happy because I thought I was going for a $2800 rebuild . But SeaFoam dodged that bullet Highly Recommend.

Transmission was slipping on GM 3.8 drivetrain. Normal for those it seems. At 100k miles I had all recommended service and hoped changing transmission fluid would solve problem. It didn't. At 130k miles I decided to try this and since putting about half the contents of the can I've experienced no more slipping. Give it a try.

Struggled a bit knowing where to put it in my car. I am a 52-year-old woman wish the directions were better but I'm believing it's helping my car I haven't noticed a difference yet. I bought two more bottles to put in all the fluids I have. I guess everything except for the brake fluid. I just wish the directions were much more specific. Especially should say where not to put it!!!!!!

Some of the issues in my transmission are torque converter related and this did not fix that, but the vibration and shift speed have definitely improved.

You need to wait for at least a day or two and then you will feel the difference of how smooth your steering wheel is compared to how it was before

Added Seafoam and shimmy almost stopped completely. Drove 100 miles, installed new trans filter, flushed old fluid while adding new high mileage Valvoline and 30 minutes later transmission was running like new.Note: My transmission had shimmy only after the trans warmed up. I think this was because the transmission fluid was old (thin). Red-ish on the stick but brown-er on paper towel. No burn smell. Bright red on the stick now. 1999 Pathfinder, still love it, garage kept and pretty. Next truck will be electric.
