It will take someone fairly savy with tech to program, but once set up, this remote works great. My 95 year old grandma, vision and dexterity impaired, with a bit of forgetfulness is able to control the TV quite well. She only really cares about 2 channels and I programmed the channel changer to flip between the 2. Her caregiver leves her with this remote when she has to go out for a while and my grandma is able to watch and listen to TV with no problems.

It was a little difficult to sync up with Spectrum. However after a couple of phone calls we got the remote to work. My brother now can watch more than one channel.

It's a bit ugly, the setup is a bit lengthy, but functionality is perfect for people with memory issues.

This is nice and simple, and most of the time it works. It was easy to set up much easier than proprietary remote controls and worked; but then it didn't, and had to be reprogrammed. I got this remote for my grandma which was very easy for her to use. We set it up for her TV and she loves it. Not to difficult for her to use and the numbers are big for her to see

Easy to setup and easy to use. I had some difficult removing the screw for setup. After that much better than the million button remote from the cable company for my senior family member.

I bought this for my mother, who has very poor eyesight and has dementia as well. With the usual remotes she couldn't see any of the labels, and the sheer number of buttons led her astray. I programmed this control so that the only things that work are the power button, the mute button, and the volume control button.The battery compartment and the programming controls are locked behind covers that can only be opened with a small screwdriver (supplied).That does it.

My mother has early memory loss and struggled with the cable remote. We constantly had to go to her house and help turn the Tv on and change the channel. Since we purchased this we have not had to help her. She is so happy she has a remote that works.
