Mission: YouthWorks specializes in comprehensive programs designed to assist youth and their families to develop self-esteem and realize their full potential. By recognizing that given a supportive environment, youth will develop the healthy attitudes and behaviors necessary to assure a successful future. Program focus areas include prevention education, prevention/intervention services, career and job skill training and community involvement.

Programs: Youthworks provides work experience and training for youth to learn basic job skills through hands-on activities. Youthworks offers GED coursework studies to youth and young adults through organized classroom education, tutoring and individually-designed study programs to assist participants to achieve high school education completion.

Intervention: YouthWorks maintains a skilled corps of youth educators, curriculum facilitators and licensed counselors that work across the public school district system and within out-of-school youth program venues to educate and facilitate life skills substance abuse prevention education and deliver one on one and group- based counseling to youth and young adults.

Youth Activities: YouthWorks provides no-cost, safe, fun, teen-designed activities for youth in Santa Fe. These events are specifically designed to engage youth in healthy activities by providing free entrance to local venues such as bowling, movies, local restaurants, outdoor amphitheater concerts, field trips to parks and recreation venues and more.
