Erases really well. Stay sharp, sturdy. Feels like a less waxy prismacolor. They are a little lighter than I remember non photo blue being. But thats on me. I still love drawing with then.Will probably get another color.

Like other reviewers have pointed out, this pencil draws very lightly, seemingly because the lead is very hard. On slightly textured paper like hot-pressed watercolor paper or fine-toothed sketch paper, it's just dark enough to be visible under good lighting. On smooth paper, like copy paper or bristol, you won't be able to get much of a mark (for these papers I would recommend the Col-Erase light blue color, 20068).These also have a barcode sticker on the end, which is slightly annoying. It's not a big deal if you stop using pencils once they get very short. However, if you do, removing the sticker will leave a residue.

The pencils work great, and we really like them. The only thing we don't like is the sticker on each pencil that doesn't come off very well and rips then leaves the sticky residue. Great pencil, no stickers please

These work well. Do you have to press a little harder than a normal pencil? Of course. But for sketching they are great. I don't do digital art but if I did I would use these every day for my initial pencils, then ink digitally. I prefer to work traditionally so I don't use them much but they do exactly what they're supposed to do.

Not a bad product, just didn't work for me. I had to press so hard on the paper that it embossed lines but the mark it left was too light to be seen.

Maybe a tad lighter than others, but it's supposed to be.You let your hand go wild than chose what you want out of that mess with ink or graphite, photo copy and no mas, just the sketch.Or zap it out in Photoshop/Affinity, etcEasy peasy
