Strips almost any gauge wire up to 10ga can strip 2,3,4, even 5 at a time. The cutters are super sharp. Very fast and handy tool. I've had coworkers see me use it and had to buy their own.

I bought this for use in auto wiring. It works really well 90 of the time. But that 10 it doesn't work can be really annoying. If the wire you're stripping is already partially stripped this device simply doesn't work. Other than that it's been awesome. Would definitely purchase again.

Do you do vehicular wiring? Are you using butt connectors? Get this it'll simplify your life. If you're looking at it it's because you've seen them around the shop and you're wondering if it's worth it. Borrow one for a day then come back and buy this.

For only $18 the build quality, adjustability, and performance of these strippers is amazing. Tried 2-3 others (all more expensive) and these crush them all in every aspect. 4 stars for durability because I just got them and tried them out on different gage wire, (solid and braided) but can't say definitively they'll last. I can say they feel much sturdier than the others I've tried.

Don't hesitate... by these! I am somewhat of an audiophile and have built most of my high quality home speakers and have always done my own car audio (and friends) for the last 30 years so needless to say I have used these SO VERY much and they still work great! If I could only choose one tool to use out of my audio tools it would be these. There is so many cheap copies of these out there that are just junk so if you want something to work great for a LONG time buy this Tool Aid brand.

This is my second one in 12 years. If you are doing any 12v wiring these are amazing, fast, and last. The only reason why I had to replace them is the screw stripped out that held the top together after it vibrated in my service truck for many seasons. They fixed that with a pin and snap ring on the new models. Love these and will always have a set in my tool bag.

these are ment for flat ribbon cable stripping, but I use them for normal 12-22 gauge wire. These are my personal favorite because when doing a wire harness I can cut the wire with the wire cutter below and then strip 1-4 wires at a time, fast and easily. Other brands that look similar are no where near as well built as these.

It cut down the time I spent stripping wire for class.My teacher has one. So, I got one. It works like a charm.If it is cutting into the strands of wire then adjust the back tension screw.After you have the correct tension on the screw. . . leave it alone. Great product! I hope to be using it for years to come.
