I prefer a true back vest and that's exactly what I got, the size runs slightly larger, but it has an adjustable back tab. I would buy another one.

I ordered a 2XL. I usually wear a 2X in jackets, vests etc, and an XL in shirts. This feels like an XL to me. I re-ordered a 3XL as I want freedom of movement etc. like what I saw of the vest. Not too heavy, seems well made.
