Bought this jacket early December/24 wore it a couple of times, paired with the lining offers good warmth, sizing is a bit on the larger side, Feels quite heavy when wearing it. Zipper quality is okay and feels heavy duty when used. The only problem that I have faced so far is that the buttons aren’t properly sewn into the jacket and the overall finishing feels like an afterthought.

Ok, so I am 6'1" - 210lbs with rather broad shoulders and ordered Medium. It fits me like a parka with a t shirt only but it looks good with a sweater. I threw it in the washing machine in hot water and after that twice in the drier at high heat to brake it in. ..... Beautiful! It shrank a bit but not much. A size S would have been a lot slicker but wouldn't allow me to wear anything under. Sleeves are the usual reded width as the military issued M65s...I hate them but if rolled up a bit it's not that bad.

Straight fit in the body which makes it snug around the bottom. I need to go up a size.

I really like this thing. Plan on sitting down for 2 or 3 hours to cut and burn all the Irish pennants away..but that's all part of the fun ain't it? May want to order a size larger if you live in very cold climate or plan to use liner for it. Xl fits me just fine, a bit baggy as it should be, I'm 6ft 250 .

This was a gift for my mom who was in the army when this was the standard issue jacket. She loves it and is very happy with it.

The jacket is comfortable, but I have my serious doubts as to how well it will hold up to regular use. The second time I ever wore the jacket, the button holding the pocket closed ripped out of the fabric. These jackets, by design, have had decades of improvements done to them, and should be nearly indestructible, yet this is already happening.

Just what I was looking for. This is the cotton m65. It fits well and is perfect for fall.

Vintage means aged, original. Rothco is Chinese made reproduction. Not original, aged, or authentic. Depending on what you are looking for this may be for you.

A great Field Jacket

comfortable without liner excellent cool soft cotton, with liner quilted very warm. wish they would replace Velcro buttons on cuffs with snaps but this is traditional military way.Use two sizes smaller than your shirt size for perfect fit. Take my word for it I sent 2 back. I don't like jacket sleeves going over the hands perfect fit is two sizes smaller. If you're in doubt, go to local army surplus and Tryon M 65s to get your size before ordering.my shirt size is large for example under armor shirts. my M 65 size is small.

A little big but nice jacket. Would recommend ordering 1 size smaller than usual.

Lost my old vintage M65 and was searching for a worthy replacement, and this seems to be the one. Its just as warm (if not a little warmer) and with layers I'm almost too hot sometimes.

After wearing an old milsurp field jacket for 25 years, it was time for a replacement as the old jacket really was beginning to look like it had gone through the wars. Unfortunately, these days the genuine milsurp field jackets all have some sort of a camo pattern, which would be fine for wandering about the woods, but less useful for wandering around town.Enter the Rothco field jacket in a nice neutral tan. I had high hopes for this jacket, and I will certainly wear it about where my old jacket used to get me unsolicited referrals to homeless shelters. The Rothco does look nice, and is comfortable.Will it last 20 years of hard use? I doubt it; I'm not certain it is as robust as the 'real deal'. The largest disappointment are the pockets. It has the same number of pockets as I'm used to, but they are tiny, barely able to fit hands alone, unlike the 'real' field jacket that could fit full sized hardcover books and magazines (the print kind, not just the firearms kind).

My recipient tried his usual size large and medium. But small fits good with the liner.

It's what it states it is. Looks great, feels great. Hood inside zipped collar. Pockets are a bit smaller than I'd personally like, a few centimeters more would have been perfect. SIZE down 1 size from your normal. I usually buy an XL, ordered this as a L and it's just right.

The jacket is awesome it gives the vintage look I had few compliments already I have added my name tag as well
